Polygon have once again put together a nicely designed online feature, proving that centre alignment is not always best.

Back in the 80s, Atari acquired the gaming rights to E.T. for the costly sum of $25 million.  The game was not well received and ultimately failed to sell.   Atari were left with thousands of unsold copies of the game, which were rumoured to have been buried in the middle of a Mexican desert.

In an attempt to unearth any truth in the urban legend, Microsoft Entertainment Studios are putting together a documentary.  This article details the efforts behind getting the film made and the various problems they encountered.  The design features some simple but effective 8-bit visuals that compliment the content quite nicely.
